If something here was useful, wrong, or worth arguing with, I would rather hear about it than not. This diary gets read by a mix of people who actually work in breeding and racing and people who are simply curious about it, and both kinds of reader have corrected me at various points, which is exactly how it should work.
There is no contact form and no newsletter signup, mostly because I don't have the time to run either properly, and a half-maintained mailing list is worse than none at all. If you want to get in touch, the most reliable route is by post, addressed to the yard near Malton, North Yorkshire, care of this website's registered contact, and I read everything that arrives even when a reply takes a while.
One thing worth saying plainly: I don't take enquiries about buying, selling or breeding to specific horses through this site, because it isn't that kind of operation and I'm not in a position to broker anything. If that's what you're after, the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association and the Racehorse Owners Association, both linked elsewhere on this diary, are better starting points than I am.
