This is a plain, static website with no tracking, no analytics and no cookies of any kind. There is nothing here that collects information about who is reading it, and nothing here for a third party to buy or sell, because there is no third party involved in the first place.
If you write in by post, I keep the letter for as long as it takes to reply and then, generally, no longer than that. I don't keep a mailing list because I don't run one. Any external links on this site, to Weatherbys, Tattersalls, the Racehorse Owners Association, the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association or the riding yard resource I've mentioned in one or two posts, take you to those organisations' own websites, each with their own separate privacy practices that this diary has no control over and no visibility into.
This diary is not affiliated with any stud, racing yard, sales company or riding school, past or present, and nothing on it should be read as an endorsement paid for by anyone. Opinions here are mine, formed over years of doing this work, and I'd rather be corrected than pretend to more certainty than the job actually allows.
